We are excited for the re-opening of the school in just over two weeks’ time. Along with our returning students, we would like to wish a warm welcome to 57 new students, 4 new teachers and our new Head of School! We want to assure you that your children's safety is top of mind in returning to in-person classes.

On-line instruction does not replace the live contact of teachers and students working and learning together. Our school is already capped at 15 - in accordance with the provincial regulations for opening school in the fall. The square footage of both classrooms and common spaces already exceeds most schools, both public and independent, and that by a wide margin.

“Unprecedented!” A word perhaps overused so far in the year 2020. The Oxford School navigated through the uncertainty of the COVID 19 pandemic with hope and determination this year. Looking back to the beginning of this school year, I fondly remember the excitement and anticipation in the eyes of our students and staff as we moved into the vibrant, wonderfully designed new facility that is The Oxford School.

The Oxford School has been known for taking studying life cycles to a whole new level. We explore learning from tadpoles to butterflies, and even fuzzy spring chicks. This year as we are safe at home we adjusted our strategy and have successfully brought 9 new chicks into the world.
