Campus and Facilities
Our campus is located at 595459 Hwy 59, Woodstock, Ontario. Classrooms are adorned with the submissions of student work and present optimal learning environments. The Oxford School is fortunate to have full children's equipment, as well as an outdoor contained yard for the students to be active in.
EQUIPMENT
Since 100% of tuition and fundraising dollars are re-invested in our school and our student resources, TOS has made significant investments in classroom resources including the Fountas and Pinnell Leveled Literacy reading program, other textbooks and enhanced learning materials. We will support our drama and music program with on-going funding of equipment and resources.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Information technology, like most educational resources, is one of many tools in the support of learning. Technology at TOS is intended to serve students in the achievement of curriculum expectations in all subject areas throughout the day. Students are encouraged and guided to use technology, to enrich their experience and improve their learning, and not simply as a 45-minute weekly lesson. TOS has technology available for all grades, to allow teachers to integrate information technology instruction and develop innovation and design skills effectively within our curriculum. A school set of chromebooks and enhanced Wi-Fi capabilities are in place at TOS's campus, to support our student learning. Student use of personal laptops is encouraged and supported by all staff, and is a necessary component of our Grade 6, 7 and 8 curriculum.
