Online Learning

Starting Monday, April 6th we will be implementing new online learning strategies for students of The Oxford School. The objective is to use the Google Suite (Education, Classroom, Hangouts) as support for all teaching engagements. This will allow teachers to contact students more consistently and easily, for a smoother at home learning experience.

Teachers have provided personal email addresses and passwords to each student. We ask that you do not change any of this account information.

Google Classroom has many built in features including the ability to assign and describe work, including pictures, videos, links, PDFs and schedule timelines for assignments. Students will be able to hand in assignments to teachers using this same tool, and communicate within the classroom.

Google Hangouts has also been set up on each student's account. Hangouts will enable teachers to be online daily Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Connecting teachers to students by the click of a button via text messaging, voice or video.
