Subscribe to the
By subscribing to The Oxford School Event Calendar using your Calendar Application, any changes to event details will automatically sync. Programs like Microsoft Outlook, services like Google Calendar, or devices such as the Apple iPhone can import the data and combine with your other calendars. Devices and software which allow "Subscribed" or "Internet" calendars are compatible.
Copy and paste the feed address below into your chosen calendar application.
There are many software applications, website services, and devices which can be used to subscribe to the calendar feed. Consult the documentation for your program / device, or search the web for "Import Calendar Feed Into [Insert Your Program / Device Here]", then follow instructions specific to your program or device.
Instructions for setting up some common calendars are as follows:
Step 1: Send yourself an email containing the above feed address.
Step 2: Open the email on your iPhone, then tap the address.
Step 3: Your phone will ask you if you want to subscribe to the calendar. Tap "subscribe".
Step 4: You will see a confirmation message, tap "view events" to see the calendar.
Step 1: In the top left application bar click on "File".
Step 2: Click on "New Calendar Subscription".
Step 3: A box will pop up asking for the calendar URL. Enter the above feed address, then click "Subscribe".
Step 4: Set your desired calendar colour. Change the Auto-refresh to your desired setting (Every 5 minutes, Every 15 minutes, Every hour, or Every day). Then click "OK".
From your iPhone:
Step 1: Open the Settings application.
Step 2: Tap "Account & Passwords".
Step 3: Tap "Add Account".
Step 4: Tap "Other".
Step 5: Tap "Add Subscribed Calendar".
Step 6: Enter the above feed address, then tap "next".
Step 6: Tap "Save".
Step 1: Login to Google and visit your Google Calendar (calendar.google.com).
Step 2: On the left-hand side look for "Add a friends calendar", click on the plus sign beside this text. Then click "from URL".
Step 3: Paste the above feed address and click "Add Calendar".
Step 1: Open Outlook and go to the Calendar area.
Step 2: In the ribbon at the top, click "Open Calendar". Then click "From Internet".
Step 3: Paste the above feed address and click "OK".
