Lunch Program
PLEASE NOTE THE LUNCH PROGRAM
WILL BE ON HOLD FOR THE 2023/2024 SCHOOL YEAR
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
During the school year we offer a hot lunch program three times a week; on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A schedule of healthy prepared lunches will be available for purchase. A monthly menu will be sent home with your child each month for you and your child to choose from. Please feel free to talk to Mrs. Devries (our caterer) about any allergy or food concerns you may have before ordering.
In order for the meals to be planned accordingly we ask that you hand in your money no later then the last Monday of each month. If you give Mrs. Devries enough notice she will be able to accommodate meals for certain food preferences such as making a meal vegetarian, or using beef rather than pork products. All lunches are hand made with love by Mrs. Devries in our health approved facility.
Meal selections and payments are processed monthly based on the parent’s selections.
Rates
Early Years: $6 per meal
Junior & Senior Kindergarten: $6 per meal
Grades 1 - 8: $7 per meal
Please provide as much notice as possible for any required cancellations. In case of last minute illness, the student’s lunch will be saved to be enjoyed the following day or sent home with a sibling.
Payment Information
Payments can be made as cash, e-transfer or cheque made out to Janis Henderson-Devries.
E-transfers should be sent to jdevries@execulink.com. Cash can be given to the student’s teacher.
What does your lunch include?
All lunches will include the meal you selected, a drink (juice box or water), a seasonal dependent side of fruit or vegetables (or salad) and a dessert (which is usually a cookie).
